The CP69xx “Economy” Control Panels feature improved HMI hardware with enhanced features at a cost of 20 percent to 40 percent less than earlier designs, says the vendor.
The panel’s DVI/USB extension allows devices to be installed and connected at distances up to 50m as standard—improving upon conventional DVI/USB connection distances by a factor of 10. Previous DVI/USB extension technology allowed distances of up to 30M, but at a significantly higher cost by requiring expensive extension components. The DP69xx DVI/USB extension transfers graphics signals directly via a DVI cable over a distance of 50m, while the USB signal is transferred to a CAT 5 cable in order to extend the 5m limitation of USB cable to the same distance of 50m.
