Terminal Mix & Match

June 1, 2003
An operator interface that can be adapted to advances in human machine interface strategies or changes in application requirements is the hallmark of the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus terminal.

The unit features a modular design to allow OEMs and end users to easily interchange or replace components to meet their needs. Users can choose from four different screen sizes ranging from seven to 15 inches and specify one of three different input methods: touch, keypad or a combination of touch-keypad display. When a unit needs maintenance or upgrading, users can replace or interchange parts themselves. The PanelView Plus comes with 32MB of base and flash RAM memory and is field-expandable to 256MB base RAM and 512MB flash RAM.
