Faster Motor Braking

June 1, 2003
The 3G3RV AC inverter features a high-slip braking function for intermittent braking applications that shortens motor stopping time by one third without using braking resistors.

A static auto-tune function eliminates the need for motor rotation to determine and set parameters. RS485/422 Modbus communication protocol is built in and DeviceNet and Profibus cards are optional. The inverter is available from 1/2 to 150 HP in 230VAC and from 3/4 to 500 HP in 460VAC.
