AutomationDirect has added the Edison JHL series of Class J fuses to their line of circuit protection products.
The JHL series 600 VAC/450 VDC fuses combine the performance of high-speed semiconductor fuses and the convenience of Class J branch-circuit fuses in one small package, allowing maximum protection for AC and DC drives and controllers. The extremely fast-acting fuses are also ideal for use with power semiconductor devices which utilize diodes, GTOs, SCRs, or SSRs, as well as electronic motor controllers. Available in one to 600 Amp sizes, the fuses are current limiting and are designed with no intentional time delay to open quickly on overload. The JHL series Class J fuse prices start at $117 for a 10-pack. Fuse blocks start at $16. To see the full line of Edison JHL Class J fuses and fuse blocks, visit www.automationdirect.com/drive-fuses.
