Measuring Array Sensors with IO-Link

Sept. 1, 2011
A-Gage EZ-Array two-piece measuring light curtain with IO-Link output has been added to the company’s line of measuring array sensors.

Sensors are appropriate for high-speed, precise process monitoring and inspection, profiling and web-guiding applications such as package and baggage sizing on material handling conveyors, profiling/positioning of packages or material in process, web edge guiding, and log diameter measurement. IO-Link allows for configuration of the operating parameters and beam status monitoring. EZ-Array features a six-position DIP switch for setting modes, and a 4 meter range with 5 mm beam spacing. A remote teach wire option for alignment, inverted display and DIP switch disable is also included.
