Electrode-less Conductivity Measurement

Sept. 1, 2011
Foxboro 876EC a 2-wire loop powered intelligent transmitter, when used with appropriate electrochemical sensors, provides measurement, local display and transmission of electrode-less conductivity or concentration.

Transmitters resolve conductivity measurements as low as single digit uS/cm and as high as 2000 mS/cm. Units offer easy configurability, a rugged field-mounted enclosure and agency certifications for hazardous electrical areas. Wide choice of sensing and configuration selections results in long service life, easy application set changes and savings in both material and labor costs, according to the company. HART communications and HART Device Type Manager integrates the units with a plant’s asset management strategies.
