SEYI America, Inc. will showcase its new SD series 1-point Direct Drive Servo press in booth #3330 at the upcoming FABETCH 2011, November 14-17.
Factory engineers and service technicians will be on-hand to demonstrate how the SD1-220 ton straight side servo press can replace a traditional two-stage die, hydraulic press process. By utilizing freeform slide programmability and hydraulic die cushion, attendees will see the production of a multi-tiered 1"- 4" deep drawn, SPCC 270 automotive oil pan, using only one stroke. The demonstration will feature SEYI’s advanced high-torque (14,000 Nm), low-rpm (340) motor and direct-drive transmission, advanced frame design, and state-of-the-art servo controller – equipped with eight pre-programmed slide motion profiles and freeform motion.
Along with in-booth demonstrations, attendees can gain perspective on the productivity and financial advantages of SEYI’s new Direct Drive Servo Press technology during the free 30 minute session: "Rethink the Way You Form". Held in the FABTECH New Product Theatre on Tuesday, November 15th at 3:45 p.m., attendees will see examples of the technical and cost-benefits of servo forming while exploring the technological advancements engineered into SEYI’s new Direct Drive Servo presses. Audience participation is encouraged. For more information about SEYI America FABTECH activities, go to www.seyiamerica.com/fabtech.html.
