Faster Pressure Transmitters

Dec. 1, 2011
The Sitrans P500 line of pressure transmitters delivers a response time of 88ms.

With a reference accuracy of 0.03% and a turndown of 200:1, the P500 can work close-coupled in rugged conditions with maximum process temperatures of 125°C (257°F). Temperature compensation and a separate static pressure sensor reportedly minimize temperature and pressure errors. The product features long-term stability of 0.05% over five years (0.08% over ten years). Its dimensions are 3.4”w x 7.4”h x 5.5”d, and it weighs 7.3 lbs. Users can configure the device with the new Local User Interface (LUI). The transmitter can also be operated and configured using standard HART tools.
