The OPC Foundation is coming to an event near you. With a full calendar of trade shows, seminars and workshops in 2012, the OPC Foundation invites you to spend some time with us for an update on new technology and solutions that solve your interoperability challenges.
“OPC UA: From Embedded to the Enterprise” was the topic at last month’s ARC Forum in Orlando, where a blue-ribbon panel of experts spoke to an enthusiastic audience about the scalability of OPC UA across the organization, from embedded chips and PLCs to the ERP connection. Coming in April is the Hanover Fair, to be held April 23 through April 27 in Hannover, Germany. If you are one of the more than 200,000 visitors expected to attend, you’ll want to stop by the OPC Foundation Pavilion in Hall 9, Stand A15, to visit with OPC Foundation member companies for a briefing on new OPC solutions. For the first time at Hanover Fair, the OPC Foundation will participate in the Field Communication Lounge (FCL) in Hall 9, Stand D05. The FCL co-locates field communication solutions from the leading standards organizations, including the FDT Group, Fieldbus Foundation, HART Communication Foundation, OPC Foundation and PROFIBUS & PROFINET International. Allow some time to hear one of the many daily forums on a variety of field communications topics presented at the Lounge.
On May 16, 2012, near Basel, Switzerland, the OPC Foundation Europe will hold OPC Day Europe. Hosted by Endress+Hauser and sponsored by leading OPC vendor companies, the event will educate attendees on OPC and OPC UA technology, including product demonstrations, success stories and networking opportunities.
