MatrikonOPC announced today that it has won first place in the OPC Connectivity Software category of Control magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards competition. This is the third consecutive year that MatrikonOPC has won the top honor in the category.
“This recognition sends a clear message that we are delivering on our commitments to our customers,” said Jeff Gould, general manager, MatrikonOPC. ”Our mission is to provide customers with the most secure and reliable OPC software and data connectivity experience available, including the training and support necessary to meet their needs.”
Thomas Burke, president and executive director of the OPC Foundation, congratulated MatrikonOPC on its achievement saying, “The OPC Foundation is proud to see the OPC category included in the Control magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards. It clearly demonstrates the adoption of OPC as the industry standard for system interconnectivity and communications. As a strong, active supporter of OPC, MatrikonOPC has played a key role in assisting in the evolution and adoption of OPC technology, and will no doubt continue to demonstrate leadership in the future as OPC Unified Architecture continues to gain global acceptance.”
Control magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards are based on un-aided reader surveys that do not provide pre-selected vendor names for categories. Respondents name the top vendors from around the world who they believe are the best providers for each category.
