Real time data is obtained from sources such as meters and automation level, while historical data is stored to establish baseline values. These values and the subsequent targets and thresholds can be set dynamically based on different variables/parameters such as modes of operation i.e. occupancy/non occupancy, production/idle etc. The real-time information is supplied in a concise and easy to understand format. When coupled with abnormality notification and event tracking, the software provides all those involved in changes to manufacturing processes or capital investment with decision making tools to identify issues and opportunities and predicts when spikes in energy use are about to occur and takes action to reduce consumption at that time while maintaining strict control over operations. The software meets the requirements of ISO 50001 and includes a dashboard to attain visibility of key energy indexes and reports for speedy access to relevant and concise information in an easy to understand format. It is web based; users can access views, reports and if applicable analyze data anytime, anywhere via an Internet browser, with no need to worry about having the right software/editor or sufficient licenses.
