CSE-Semaphore, a CSE Global company, has introduced WebForm Studio 2.0, the industry's first software utility that enables the development of compatible, organization-wide HMI displays spanning smart phones, tablets, and PCs. Without programming knowledge, users can build Web interfaces that keep everyone informed -- from on-site technicians to field operators to management.

WebForm Studio 2.0 allows users to take full advantage of the integral Webserver in TBox remote terminal unit (RTU) products. Web page displays can be created that provide all of the information in a TBox device -- alarms and live and historical data -- to PC and mobile users anywhere, anytime.

The software utility also allows users to rapidly embed and configure objects, alarm tables, historical trends, and entry fields in dynamic Web pages. Links to other pages and selective displays according to the level of authorization are easily inserted.

Ideal for Smart System Applications

WebForm studio 2.0 is ideal for smart system applications that require standardized data visibility at the local device level for a broad group of users. CSE-Semaphore's unique configuration environment incorporates Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), the agnostic technology of reference for Web 2.0. Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is used to draw objects. No programming or device-specific apps are required.

With WebForm Studio 2.0, there is no expensive software licensing. The environment is available at no additional cost with CSE-Semaphore's TWinSoft Suite.

CSE-Semaphore's TBox employs an innovative, decentralized architecture that enables the complete integration of programmable automation, alarm management, data logging, and IP telemetry in a single, rugged package. Simple yet powerful platforms leverage Web technologies and push messaging via e-mail, SMS text, and FTP. TBox systems are easy to configure and offer dramatically reduced costs versus traditional PLC and SCADA architectures.

The company has shipped the first orders of WebForm Studio 2.0 and the software utility is available from CSE-Semaphore distributors worldwide.

CSE-Semaphore's RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control applications in the asset management, broadcast / telecom, oil & gas, power, transportation, and water / wastewater industries.
