“ITW Pillar Technologies’ new Genuine Pillar Parts (or GPP) program was developed to ensure our customers are experiencing the highest level of uptime and productivity with our ITW Pillar Technologies systems, at the lowest operating cost. Our machines are built to provide long and trouble-free operation. But all machines require maintenance, and there are suppliers of inferior and counterfeit electrical and mechanical parts whose products will routinely compromise the performance of our systems, stated Chester Schwartz, Service Manager, ITW Pillar Technologies. “Process engineers and maintenance personnel charged with keeping systems operating a peak performance know the consequences of purchasing “knock-off” parts, but this commitment to uptime can sometimes become compromised.
