ITW Pillar Technologies, a leading manufacturer of advanced induction cap sealing and surface treatment systems, has launched a new Genuine Pillar Parts program in support of its advanced induction cap sealing and surface treatment technologies.

“ITW Pillar Technologies’ new Genuine Pillar Parts (or GPP) program was developed to ensure our customers are experiencing the highest level of uptime and productivity with our ITW Pillar Technologies systems, at the lowest operating cost. Our machines are built to provide long and trouble-free operation. But all machines require maintenance, and there are suppliers of inferior and counterfeit electrical and mechanical parts whose products will routinely compromise the performance of our systems, stated Chester Schwartz, Service Manager, ITW Pillar Technologies. “Process engineers and maintenance personnel charged with keeping systems operating a peak performance know the consequences of purchasing “knock-off” parts, but this commitment to uptime can sometimes become compromised. The downtime always costs significantly more than what is saved by using counterfeit parts, and subsequently the voiding of the original equipment warranty. Genuine factory parts restore components to original performance, reliability, and durability potential”, Schwartz further commented.

The Genuine Pillar Parts program is said to feature a unique Pillar Technologies marking on critical components of its induction sealing, corona treatment and atmospheric plasma treatment systems. The absence of these markings indicates the part is not genuine. The program also features a discounted UPTIME annual preventative maintenance option.
