Fuji Electric Corp. of America announced that they have expanded their portfolio of low-voltage inverters in the North American market with the next generation FRENIC-Mini Drive (C2), which is now available for shipment to customers. As a replacement model for the existing FRENIC-Mini, these new compact inverters offer customers additional features and improved functionality while maintaining the same size and footprint.

"The FRENIC-Mini Series has been well received by our customers around the world due to its compact size and ease of operation," said Thomas Bopp, Fuji Electric's General Manager of AC Drives, Ring Compressors, and HMI Displays. "The series has undergone a full model change in order to achieve the same level of control and performance seen in more advanced models, making it suitable for a broader range of products."

Fuji Electric's FRENIC-Mini Series provides excellent performance for both single-phase and three-phase applications, and is available in multiple configurations to support 1/8 HP up to 20 HP AC drives / variable frequency drives (VFD) / v/ Hz vector drives. With an expanded range of rated voltages, the new FRENIC-Mini strikes an optimal balance between price and performance, positioning it for rapid growth in the N.A. market.
