In the packaging industry, slip rings are in charge of the rotary transmission of energy, signals and data between the stationary and the rotating platforms.

The new Kübler SRI085 slip ring has been designed for transmitting up to 3 load and 3 signal channels. Because of the inductive signal channels, this Slip Ring is nearly maintenance free. The SRI085 is fully encapsulated and thus free from any undesirable abrasive dust. It is easily serviced and can be cleaned with a damp cloth or flowing water. The IP64 protection level also withstands a strong water jet.

Packaging machines today operate continuously, and faster production speeds and efficiencies are always being sought. The high rotary speed of the SRI085, 800 RPM, compensates the high speeds without difficulty. The load current capability of 25 amperes allows very short heating times and thus optimal temperature regulation – even for shortest contact times. The flexable and easy installation of the SRI085 provides the best transmission of load, signal, data and pneumatics according to the industry needs.
