MTE: Single-Phase Harmonic Filters

Nov. 27, 2015
The Matrix ONE family is offered in 240 V and 480 V for applications spanning between 3 and 150 hp.

The filter reduces total harmonic distortion from variable frequency drives and SCR loads to acceptable levels, allowing improved power quality in single phase applications - especially in rural, remote areas where power quality is often not optimal and three-phase power is often unavailable. If not managed, these harmonics can lead to the damage of equipment and penalties from utility companies. These filters, which are an addition to the company's line of three-phase filters, provide a solution in a small and compact design that allows easy installation in various applications, to manage harmonics and extend the life of equipment. Units are available rated for 240 V, 17-620 A or 480 V, 8-310 A, 60 Hz and are UL and cUL listed to UL508 Type MX and CSA-C22.2 No 14-95, File E180243 (1-999 Ampere, 120VAC through 690VAC 50/60Hz .
