Temperature-Resistant Silicone and Cross-Linked Cables

April 7, 2016
The Lapp Group is now offering a series of cables for extreme environments such as high and low temperatures, aggressive substances and areas with space and weight issues.

Ideal applications include food and beverage machines, industrial ovens, steel and glass foundries and industrial machinery.

These ÖLFLEX HEAT cables maintain their electrical and mechanical properties in extreme heat and cold to ensure uninterrupted power in severe conditions. They are made from durable materials including cross-linked polymers, silicone, fluoropolymers and fiber glass.

Cross-linked polymer cables deliver increased thermal resistance, as well as resistance to corrosion, abrasion and a wide range of operating fluids like solvents and detergents. Silicone cables exhibit hydrolysis and UV resistance.

While designed to withstand extreme temperatures, these cables are also resistant to chemicals.
