CONTA-CLIP expand their range of screw-type distributor blocks by adding the new SVBA and
the SVBKA types for energy distribution in control cabinets. Both series are suited for copper leads as well
as for aluminum conductors. Featuring an extremely compact design, these units facilitate potential or power
distribution without the need for additional accessories. SVBA blocks are sized for small wire cross sections
of 1.5 mm² up to a massive 500 mm². They connect an incoming conductor with a large cross section with up
to six conductors with smaller cross sections.

SVBA blocks are available in five versions for currents between 85 A and 415 A, as well as in a special 1100
A version with three terminal connections. They feature rated voltages of 1000 V AC and up to 1500 V DC.
All models except for the special high-current version are easy to mount by snapping them to-gether with a
plastic connecting clip. Colored marking columns for N, PE and phase allow users to code and re-code the
SVBA blocks as needed. An built-in label on the block additionally shows the connected phase. SVBA blocks
with up to 380 A for the North American market are UL-certified.

In contrast, all models of the SVBKA screw-type distributor series feature just two connections and facilitate
the quick and easy contacting of two conductors with cross-sections ranging from 1.5 mm² up to 240 mm² for
currents up to 425 A and voltages of 1000 V. For smaller conductor cross-sections, touch safety is ensured
with optional covers. SVBKA blocks provide a major advantage compared to conventional terminal blocks
due to their significantly slimmer and therefore space-saving design. Both SVBA and SVBKA series blocks
can be mounted by simply snapping them onto a TS35 DIN rail. They can also be fixed directly to a mounting
plate via a screw flange on the side. Both series ensure IP20 ingress protection for all wire cross sections.
