The Proficy Process System 2.0 now integrates the Proficy iFIX and PAC8000 controllers to allow users the freedom to choose their own HMI and controller technologies.
"In version 2.0, users have the ability to add their own function blocks
and faceplates, in addition to the extensive list of ones provided with
the system. This allows the system integrators, OEMs and end users to
create reusable blocks and graphics specific to their own process
applications," says Steve ryan, general manager process and safety
solutions. The system can also reduce training costs for inexperienced
operators.
Applications can include main steam cycle, municipal water treatment and
well-to-tank control. Industries suited for this product solution are
power, oil/gas, water/wastewater, mining and metals, food and beverage,
chemicals, and cement.
