Remote I/O Solution

Aug. 12, 2010
The APAX-5070, a high-density Modubus/TCP remote I/O solution, allows any PC, controller or HMI device to add remote I/O functionality to access data and perform read/write actions.
Features include two RJ-45 ports with the same IP address that can build daisy chains to connect remote I/O devices directly with an additional Ethernet switch. With flexible Modbus address mapping, the module allows users to allocate mapping automatically or manually to minimize the data size transferred between APAX-5070 and Modbus/TCP master, and also shortens data response time. Connects to digital I/O (max 768 points) or analog I/O modules (max. 192 points) and an option for alarms without a controller. Advantech Corp., Industrial Automation Groupwww.advantech.com/ea
