MatrikonOPC announced at the 2008 Emerson Exchange on October 1, that Stratus Technologies has chosen to partner with MatrikonOPC to complement Stratus’ ability to offer continuous availability of plant applications data. MatrikonOPC now offers complete SNMP [simple network monitoring protocol] monitoring of the Stratus ftServer, as well as securely exposing data to a wide variety of other OPC diagnostic tools.

The market brought our companies together and we recognized that leveraging MatrikonOPC technology would enhance the value of ftServer platform for our manufacturing customers.
