Mobile gadgets

Editors are suspicious of the word “first” in a press release, but these companies claim a first for embedding terminal emulation software into a mobile computing device.

Datalogic Mobile will pre-license and embed emulation software from Wavelink Corp. This means Datalogic Mobile customers receive, at no additional cost, software for managing the devices and connecting them to host systems.

Wavelink Avalanche will come pre-licensed on all Datalogic CE mobile devices while Wavelink Emulators will be pre-licensed on select models and pre-loaded on all other devices. Datalogic Mobile customers will receive technical support for Wavelink applications as part of their standard support agreements.
