New High-Speed, 3D Camera

Aug. 10, 2011
The new C4-2040-GigE is the newest addition to its C4 camera series and it comes with 3D sensors and a resolution of 2,048 x 1,088 pixels.
The new camera utilizes a 3D sensor that uses a global shutter and exposures all pixels at the same time, offering sharp images without distortion. It delivers more than 66 million 3D points with a profile frequency of up to 32 kHz. The HDR-3D technology provides the readout of a sensor with Multi-Slope and Multi-Frame readout. The camera also features a dynamic of up to 90db and scans materials and surfaces with inhomogeneous reflectivity properties. The camera's C4-2040 sensors provides a high light sensitivity and enhanced sensitivity in the NIR spectrum, the company adds. Another version of the camera, called the C4-2040-4M-GigE, features a higher resolution of 2,048 x 2,048 pixels. The data-exchange is based on a Gigabit-Ethernet interface and complies with the GigE-Vision standard. Automation Technologywww.automationtechnology.de
