Dec. 1, 2005
The Feb.28-March1 Shanghai event will feature an end-user-oriented agenda.
The Fieldbus Foundation has announced that its annual General Assembly will be held in Shanghai, China, from Feb. 28-March 1. The event will address the needs of the expanding Foundation Fieldbus market in China and Asia/Pacific, and will feature an end-user-oriented agenda that will include user case study presentations, technical training workshops and tabletop exhibits, the Foundation said.
The Fieldbus Foundation selected Shanghai as the ideal location for the 2006 General Assembly due to the high level of fieldbus technology adoption by China’s burgeoning industrial sector. China is also the site of several of the world’s largest Foundation Fieldbus installations, including the Secco and Nanhai petrochemical complexes.
Registration information and a complete agenda for the 2006 General Assembly, when available, will be available on the Fieldbus Foundation Web site, at www.fieldbus.org.
