P&G Licenses Tools

The Procter & Gamble Co. (www.pg.com) said it has licensed its proprietary reliability engineering analysis and optimization tools to Zarpac Inc.

(www.zarpac.com), of Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Under terms of the agreement, Zarpac has exclusive rights to incorporate the P&G tools into manufacturing data collection and analysis software, which will provide the ability to achieve rapid improvement in equipment performance.

The P&G tool set integrates a revolutionary analysis approach that changes the way equipment systems are designed, started up and optimized on an ongoing basis, the company said.
