New President and CEO for Honeywell ACS

Feb. 1, 2004
There’s a new leader for Honeywell’s $7 billion Automation and Control Solutions business. Roger Fradin, who will report to Honeywell Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dave Cote, succeeds Kevin Gilligan as president and CEO of the ACS division.

Most recently, Fradin served as president of Automation and Control Products, which includes Honeywell’s sensing and control, security, fire, and environmental and combustion controls businesses. In a realignment and flattening of the ACS management structure, the leaders of the ACP businesses will report directly to Fradin, along with the business leaders of Honeywell Building Solutions Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Honeywell Process Solutions and ACS Asia Pacific. Fradin, who will be based in Minneapolis, joined Honeywell in 2000, following the acquisition of the Pittway Corp.

Honeywell International (www.honeywell.com) is a $22 billion technology and manufacturing company that, in addition to its automation and control businesses, serves aerospace, automotive and electronic markets. With corporate headquarters in Morris Township, N.J., Honeywell is one of the 30 stocks that comprise the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
