Sensors expo set for September

Aug. 1, 2003
Automation users can get the latest word on sensor products, technologies, solutions and trends at the Sensors Expo & Conference (www.sensorsexpo.com), scheduled for Sept.

22-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, Calif.

The Fall 2003 edition of the semiannual event will feature four days of educational seminars and conference sessions; a three-day exhibition including thousands of products from more than 100 vendors will run Sept. 23-25, covering 24,000 square feet.

Due to popular demand, this year’s conference sessions will feature more coverage of business topics than in the past. The Business of Sensors Symposium has been expanded to two days on Tuesday and Wednesday of the conference week, with topics including mergers and acquisitions, industry trends and challenges, operations management issues, and the effect of sensors technology on information technology.

Other sessions will be broken into three additional tracks: Sensor Technology & Design; Intelligent Systems & Smart Sensors; and Putting Sensors to Work. The sessions are designed to cover the most timely issues confronting engineers, scientists, researchers and managers in the sensors industry and industries using sensor technology. In all, more than 40 sessions will be presented.
