Automation Demonstrations on the Move

March 1, 2012
WAGO Corporation’s 2012 Innovation in Automation Tour (IIAT) commences in March with visits to two states.
Automation vendor Wago Corporation launches its 2012 Innovation in Automation Tour (IIAT) this month with visits to two states: Mississippi and California. Essentially mobile tradeshows, IIAT comprises two vans that have traveled nearly 340,000 combined miles throughout the US and Canada over the past six years. This has enabled WAGO to connect with industrial professionals unable to attend tradeshows, while providing entire engineering staffs with local, hands-on demonstrations of the company'spring pressure termination technology, which forms the basis of its electronicsubsystems and electrical connectorsThe twin IIAT vans are equipped with pick-and-play displays  that include Wago's newest automation, electronic interface and interconnect solutions. Visits are coordinated by Wago representatives and field application engineers to address specific application issues. The IIAT vans also attend industry functions, such as the Offshore Technology Conference, being held this year in Houston, April 30 – May 3. For that show, an IIAT Van will serve as Wago's booth outside the Houston Reliant Center.
