HELUKABEL Expands Robotic Services Division with Acquisition of Robotec Systems

Effective July 1, 2012, HELUKABEL acquired ROBOTEC SYSTEMS GmbH of Kamp-Lintfort, Germany making it a fully-owned subsidiary. HELUKABEL'’s former robotics business unit, HELUROBOTICS, will merge with the newly acquired subsidiary and operate under the ROBOTEC SYSTEMS name.

Effective July 1, 2012, HELUKABEL acquired ROBOTEC SYSTEMS GmbH of Kamp-Lintfort, Germany making it a fully-owned subsidiary. HELUKABEL'’s former robotics business unit, HELUROBOTICS, will merge with the newly acquired subsidiary and operate under the ROBOTEC SYSTEMS name. The new ROBOTEC SYSTEMS will offer the complete range of robotic cabling services from system analysis, consultation and planning to design, installation and warranty maintenance.

The combination of the two robotic entities will provide stronger market penetration around the globe by further advancing robotic cable systems for industries that rely heavily on the use of robots for automated work flow, which include aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, food, metal fabrication, medical, pharmaceutical and packaging.

“ROBOTEC SYSTEMS’ years of experience added to the established robotic capabilities of HELUROBOTICS, will enable HELUKABEL to continue offering U.S. and Canadian customers enhanced levels of robotic services,” said HELUKABEL USA President Marc Luksch.
