AMT Renews Partnership with Industrial Automation North America

Sept. 14, 2012
Deutsche Messe AG announces that it has renewed its strategic partnership with the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) to stage Industrial Automation North America as part of International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2014, which will run September 8–13, 2014, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The partnership to launch Industrial Automation North America 2012, Deutsche Messe’s first industrial automation event in the North American market, was established by Deutsche Messe and AMT in 2010. AMT is the organizer of IMTS. At a media briefing on the first day of the IMTS 2012 show, Wolfgang Pech, Senior v.p., Deutsche Messe AG, said,"It seemed to be the ideal time to include an industrial automation component to the IMTS show."

On Tuesday, Pech added, “We are very pleased to maintain this successful partnership with IMTS.  Our inaugural event this year sold out of exhibitor space.  In fact, we have 30 percent more exhibition area than our original commitment, which illustrates the strong demand in North America for a comprehensive industrial automation event.”

Industrial Automation North America 2014 will showcase the latest automation processes and solutions. As co-located events, Industrial Automation North America and IMTS feature the world’s top exhibiting companies and attract visitors who want to buy the best solutions for their manufacturing operations.

Industrial Automation North America is Deutsche Messe’s newest international industrial automation trade fair, joining a roster that includes events in China, India, Russia, and Turkey.
