Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., will exhibit its energy monitoring and management products and solutions at PACK EXPO, a packaging and processing trade show being held in Las Vegas, September 23-25. Mitsubishi Electric’s energy solutions on display at the trade show will include EnergyPAQ for plant-wide energy monitoring and AX Energy for energy management.
Mitsubishi Electric’s energy monitoring and measuring solutions allow manufacturers to reduce energy consumption and costs by allowing them to understand how much energy is used within their facilities. EnergyPAQ installs directly on the factory floor and provides the physical monitoring, while AX Energy is software that provides visibility into a plant’s energy consumption. Monitoring by individual departments or individual machines allows a dollar value to be assigned to each part produced. Armed with this information, companies can then manage the production efficiency of each product and piece of equipment.
In addition to demonstrating its energy monitoring and management solutions, Mitsubishi Electric Automation will also display its energy-saving equipment at the booth. One such product, the MR-J4 servo, provides combined servo technology that can reduce energy consumption by up to 30 percent over traditional inline servo amplifiers.
“These energy-saving products and solutions are particularly useful to packaging and food processing manufacturers. Consequently, PACK EXPO is the ideal venue to demonstrate our energy solutions to engineering managers, plant managers, production managers and other packaging and processing professionals,” said David Kaley, business development manager, Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc.
An in-depth discussion of Mitsubishi Electric’s energy monitoring and management solutions is available in a new white paper entitled, “Monitoring and Managing Factory Energy Use to
Improve Operational Efficiency and Reduce Costs.” Those interested in these energy solutions may visit the website at www.meau.com/PackExpo or see Mitsubishi Electric Automation in booth S-6021 at PACK EXPO.
