C&M Technologies, a vertically integrated manufacturer of wire and cable, coil cords and cable assemblies, announced the receipt of a 2013 Rockwell Automation Supplier of the Year Award. C&M’s President & CEO John Laskowsky and Vice President of Sales Rob Conway received the award, C&M's third, during the annual Rockwell Automation Supplier Conference.
“Rockwell maintains an excellent supply chain and continues to raise the bar on supply chain performance. It is an outstanding achievement for C&M to be recognized not only in 2013, but also in 2009 and 2012 with this prestigious award,” said Laskowsky.
The award is based on performance throughout the year against Rockwell Automation criteria that C&M met or exceeded. These criteria include lead-time reduction, on-time delivery, quality and productivity. Selection as a Supplier of the Year also requires maintenance of key compliance initiatives, investment in continuous improvement and identification of quantitative areas for product or process enhancement.
“Rockwell Automation is exceptional at collaboration with their preferred suppliers to deliver solutions that benefit both Rockwell and the supplier,” said Laskowsky.
With an operational model that provides superior speed to market, C&M delivers engineering value through custom wire and cable assembly products for harsh and demanding environments.
C&M sits on Rockwell's "Supplier Council" with a select group of preferred suppliers. The Supplier Council provides Rockwell's Strategic Sourcing Organization with input to improve supply chain performance to benefit both the supplier and Rockwell.
