Beckhoff Automation LLC Promotes Aurelio Banda to VP of Sales and Marketing

Beckhoff Automation LLC is pleased to announce that Aurelio Banda has been promoted to become the company’s new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Banda will take on this new role at the Beckhoff North American headquarters in Savage, Minn. (Minneapolis area).

Prior to his promotion, Banda was a Central Region Manager for Beckhoff in the U.S. In that role he oversaw a sales team covering the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, as well as North and South Dakota. Banda’s team drove sales increases at new and existing accounts and established a stronger presence in the region by opening a field office in Woodridge, Ill. (Chicago area).

“After making significant contributions and driving positive change in regional sales management, the time is now for Aurelio Banda to broaden his attention to the national level and channel his proven leadership at Beckhoff’s North American headquarters facility,” said Graham Harris, President, Beckhoff Automation LLC.

Throughout his career, Banda has held high level sales and management positions at a variety of automation and controls suppliers and was owner/CEO of an engineering firm he started, Controls Plus, Inc. Adding to his tenure selling advanced PC-based control systems at Beckhoff, Banda has over 25 years of industrial automation experience with companies such as Bosch Rexroth and Rockwell Automation. Banda is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame; he holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering.
