WAGO introduces a new MODBUS configurator tool for WAGO-I/O-PRO programming and visualization software.
WAGO introduces a new MODBUS configurator tool for WAGO-I/O-PRO programming and visualization software. The configurator automatically sets up Master Slave connections between WAGO's 750 series MODBUS based I/O and PLCs as well as with third party devices. The MODBUS configurator:
Scans remote I/O and generates data points in the master application
Configures cross communications between PLCs
Auto generates communication code for networked devices
“With the configurator, WAGO devices can scan the slave node and capture the connected terminal configuration and thus determine all data points. From the configuration the program code is automatically created and added to the WAGO-I/O-PRO programming environment. It really is the best way to program your MODBUS network,” says David Bae, WAGO Product Support Engineer. The MODBUS Configurator is available as an update and is also included in WAGO-I/O-PRO version 2.3.9.44 and higher.
