Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, announced that it has received the Silver Award for Distributor of the Year from Honeywell Sensing and Control.

The award was determined based on a number of factors, including reaching and/or exceeding sales goals, year-over-year growth in the sale of Honeywell products, the quality and execution of a focused marketing plan, and the ability to capture new customers.

“We’re very pleased to have received this recognition from Honeywell, one of our most valued suppliers,” said Allied Product Director Joe Reed. “We work hard to provide a great experience to both our customers and our vendors, and it’s extremely gratifying to see those efforts acknowledged by one of the industry leaders. All of us at Allied look forward to a fruitful future with Honeywell.”

“We’re continuously developing innovative and top quality products at Honeywell,” said Tony Sugalski, President of Honeywell Sensing and Control. “Having trusted distributors like Allied working hard to be innovative in the selling process is not only helpful, but imperative to our partnership.”

“We’ve recently expanded our Honeywell portfolio as part of our ‘Globalize the Offer’ program, making more Honeywell inventory available to our customers than ever before,” said Frank Cantwell, Vice President, Product Management for Allied. “This provides increased opportunities for growth in sales of Honeywell product as we move forward with this important global initiative.”

The award was presented at Honeywell’s Annual Gala and Awards Ceremony, held on January 20, 2015 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
