Two New Executives for ETEL Brand

HEIDENHAIN Corporation announces the new hire of two sales executives dedicated to the ETEL brand: Andy Mehdi, Regional Sales Manager and Julius Rurangirwa, Sales and Applications Engineer.

HEIDENHAIN Corporation announces the new hire of two sales executives dedicated to the ETEL brand: Andy Mehdi, Regional Sales Manager and Julius Rurangirwa, Sales and Applications Engineer. Of particular interest to the semiconductor and high tech equipment industries, ETEL’s motors and motion systems are known worldwide as high quality components, and are available in North America through parent company HEIDENHAIN Corporation.

Mehdi and Rurangirwa are now positioned to assist North American customers and prospects of ETEL products with application information and products as needed. They also serve as a liaison to ETEL’s worldwide corporate headquarters in Switzerland.

As a Regional Sales Manager for ETEL, Mehdi is responsible for supporting west coast semiconductor industry customers and is located in San Jose, CA. Providing ETEL’s motion systems, actuators and controllers, Mehdi comes to HEIDENHAIN holding a degree from Wichita State in Electrical Engineering. With over 20 years’ experience in the semiconductor field, Mehdi has served in many capacities for related companies with titles such as Manufacturing Engineer, Product Support Engineer, Corporate Trainer and Applications Engineer, to name a few.

As HEIDENHAIN’s new Sales and Applications Engineer for ETEL, Rurangirwa is now responsible for supporting key accounts, serving as a first level of technical interface to customers and prospects, as well as providing internal support with relevant market research and presentations. Rurangirwa holds two Electrical Engineering degrees, one from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Wisconsin and the other from the University of Applied Science in Lubeck, Germany where he completed his course of studies during a one-year foreign exchange program. He is currently a member of IEEE.
