AMETEK Programmable Power, the global leader in programmable AC and DC power test solutions, announced it has achieved two critical standards certifications that allow its products to be sold in Russia.

AMETEK Programmable Power products, spanning AC power sources, DC power supplies, and AC/DC loads, have received GOST-R certification. GOST certification is internationally recognized and awarded to manufacturers based on testing and verifying that the manufacturers’ products provide exemplary safety, quality and performance. GOST certification further ensures that the products are in compliance with Russian National Standards and in adherence with Euro-Asian regional standards.

In addition, AMETEK’s Sorensen brand SG DC Power Supply and Sorensen SFA Current Source both have received GOST-R and GOST-Metrology certifications. Products that carry the GOST-Metrology certification perform to specific, high levels within a stricter, specified margin of error.

AMETEK Programmable Power designs, manufactures and markets precision, AC and DC programmable power supplies, electronic loads, application specific power subsystems, and compliance test solutions for customers requiring and valuing differentiated power products and services. It offers one of the industries' broadest portfolios of programmable power products under the Sorensen, Elgar, California Instruments and AMREL brands.

GOST certification certifies that whether solutions are standard or custom, they’ve won the right to be imported, marketed, distributed and sold for Russian applications.
