With the steady growth NCC Automated has been experiencing, the company is expanding and the much anticipated opening of the new production area is soon to come. The facility will be growing to 47,000 square feet with the addition of the 17,000 square feet.

Kevin Mauger, President, NCC Automated Systems, “With the growth we are having in all areas of the business we simply need the room. “The additional space will be used for system assembly, allowing us to do even more pre-testing of systems prior to shipment, contributing to our record time installations and startups.” Mauger continues, “We are also changing the flow of the entire manufacturing, assembly and work in progress areas in order to become more lean and efficient.”

NCC Automated Systems is a Full Service Automation Systems Integrator with just under thirty years of experience. They are an integrator and manufacturer of systems based automation solutions specializing in the food, packaging and ophthalmic lens manufacturing industries. In addition to integrating some of the world’s best automation equipment solutions, they offer in-house mechanical, electrical design and manufacturing. They can provide complete turnkey systems or just sell equipment and conveyors as needed. In late 2012, NCC launched the Glide-Line™ brand, diversifying their portfolio with a product line aimed to the assembly automation world and going to market through automation integrator partners.

NCCAS looks to have the project completed by January, 2016. Mauger adds, “We’ve been on a 25% growth curve since the mid 2000’s and there have been steadily increasing instances in the past few years where we’ve had to lease space, shift schedules or manage around space. Long story short, we knew that we’d need this space eventually, had planned for it years ago, and the timing was right. Space will no longer be an issue and we’ll be in an even better position to meet our customer’s needs.”
