HARTING U.S Hires Director of Technology Development

HARTING Technology Group based out of Germany is looking to the U.S. as the driving force behind digitalization and Industry 4.0.
They have developed technology partnerships with several institutions and organizations in North America including the Industry Internet Consortium (IIC) and a continued partnership with MIT.
HARTING U.S. is pleased to announce that Dr. Vivek Dave has been hired as the Director of Technology Development. Dr. Dave will be directing all North America related research activities, new technologies and projects with HARTING’s key technology partners.
Dr. Dave comes to HARTING with over 20 years of experience in early-stage development of advanced technologies involving manufacturing, materials and algorithms. He co-founded Sigma Labs in 2006 and since then, he’s been involved in a number of start-up organizations, most notably Kinalco, which he co-founded with an MIT professor.
Dr. Dave holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, a Master’s Degree from MIT in Materials Engineering and a Ph.D. from MIT in Materials Engineering with a minor in Mathematics.
