Ballarat Health Services is home to the only two hospitals in an 18,000 square mile area in Australia’s Grampians region. To keep those essential facilities functioning without interruption, the multi-block campus needs to keep power management, temperature control and HVAC systems running optimally—even in the middle of a hardware and software update.
The hospital’s engineering team knew there would be obstacles when they wanted to improve its overall system performance, but patients could not afford a single second of downtime.
