It’s no secret that we fully test (and 3rd-party certify) our products to NEMA 4/4X and IP65/IP66 environmental standards, but many of our users don’t know that we also publish Reliability Reports for most of these products.

What kind of information is in these reports?
The suite of tests in these reports is based on IEC 60721 standards for products used in industrial applications. These standards specify the monitor's ability to handle a wide range of temperature, humidity, vibration, and shock. The tests simulate the effects of these conditions while the monitor is being transported, stored, and operated:

  • Cold, Non-operating
  • Cold, Operating
  • Dry Heat, Operating
  • Thermal Shock, Non-operating
  • Thermal Shock, Operating
  • Mechanical Shock, Operating
  • Free Fall
  • Static Load
  • Vibration, Non-operating
  • Vibration, Operating
  • Damp Heat (Cyclic), Operating
  • Damp Heat (Steady State), Operating

Most Hope Industrial Displays and Touch Screen models have been tested. Here is a full list of the available reports:
