The patent-pending VeriSafeTM Absence of Voltage Tester simplifies the voltage verification process through automation, which reduces risk of worker exposure to electrical hazards by verifying the absence of voltage before equipment is accessed.
This makes it easier for qualified electrical workers to determine an electrically safe environment in a fraction of the time required by hand-held portable test instruments.
Once installed, a simple push of a button enables qualified electrical workers to see an active visual indication when the absence of voltage is confirmed. This provides a unique way to safely, efficiently, and reliably verify the absence of voltage before accessing potentially dangerous electrical equipment.
This new product offering provides the following customer benefits:
Lowers the risk of exposure of electrical hazards for improved worker safety
Simplifies the process for easier NFPA 70E compliance
Reduces testing procedure time and complexity to improve productivity
In addition to NFPA 70E compliance, the VeriSafeTM Absence of Voltage Tester is designed to comply with UL 1436 and UL 508 standards.
“We are excited that Panduit is at the forefront of this advanced technology which allows us to venture into unchartered territory,” said Bob Krisel, VP, OEM, Panduit. “This highly anticipated new product offering has the capability to transform the way our customers in the manufacturing industries conduct verification testing for industrial enclosures. We understand that our customers are committed to protecting their workers while meeting safety regulations. This new tool allows them to effectively meet their objectives.”
