Learn to code and install PackML

April 10, 2017
PackML Workshop 2017 is offered in conjunction with the Automation Conference & Expo, May 23-24 at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare, and it includes half-day training on PackML programming.

This year's PackML Workshop will feature presentations on advancing the Industrial Internet and implementing PackML, plus concurrent hands-on sessions led by experts from Siemens and Rockwell Automation. Each hands-on session will include multiple workstations for participants to learn how to code and install PackML. The goal is to provide attendees with practical experience by simulating a programming and installation environment.

The Workshop takes place on May 22, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare in partnership with the Automation Conference & Expo 2017, produced by Automation World, Packaging World, and PMMI Media Group. The conference follows the PackML Workshop on May 23-24 at the same location.

PackML Workshop participants also will learn more about how PackML and OPC UA are advancing the Industrial Internet. Dennis Brandl, BRL Consulting will present OMAC and OPC UA - Providing a Pathway to the Industrial Internet of Things. A general session on building the business case for PackML will also be offered.

A reception for all OMAC members and Workshop participants will follow at 5:00 pm in the same location. OMAC will hold its General Meeting for all members and interested workshop participants on May 22, prior to the Workshop.

PackML Workshop attendees must also register the Automation Conference & Expo. For more information and to register: visit www.theautomationconference.com.
