Weidmuller introduces the new WIL, an industrial LED lighting solution designed to improve visibility for maintenance work in a range of applications that include standard industrial control cabinets and field applications. The new Weidmuller Industry Light (WIL), with an IP67 aluminum housing, can withstand harsh environmental conditions while delivering a space-saving and effective lighting solution in the cabinet or on the machine.
The Weidmuller lighting solution features a unique LED arrangement in a robust and compact 8mm-deep housing. The 20-degree angle of the LEDs provide an ultra-wide light cone that can illuminate a broad area, eliminating the need to rotate the light for greater coverage. The LEDs have a light color of 6500K– similar to daylight– with a low power consumption of only 420mA and 24Vdc operating voltage.
The WIL LED lighting solution also offers streamlined installation and operation. Mounting holes are sized and spaced at 225mm apart to ensure easy installation in conventional control cabinets without the need for additional hardware. The WIL features an M12 plug with a prefabricated cable for an easy, weathertight connection to the 24Vdc power supply. It can also be powered using an I/O distributor block.
Weidmuller supports customers and partners around the world with products, solutions and services in the industrial environment of power, signal and data. The company develops innovative, sustainable and useful solutions that set standards in Industrial Connectivity today and continually work toward providing solutions for the technology challenges of tomorrow. The Weidmuller Group owns manufacturing plants, sales companies and representatives in more than 80 countries.
