Matrox Imaging at AUTOMATE – Product Preview

Matrox® Imaging will be at AUTOMATE from April 8 to 11 at booth 8336. Stop by to see the latest innovations in machine vision and industrial imaging hardware and software.

This year’s focus is Matrox Design Assistant X, the latest edition of its renowned flowchart-based vision application software, which integrates a host of new tools to perform image classification using deep learning, highlight surface imperfections using photometric stereo techniques, as well as the ability to interface directly with third-party 3D sensors.

Demonstrations will highlight how these tools perform effective verification and inspection using a Matrox Iris GTR smart camera and a Matrox vision controller with a GigE Vision® camera, showing the extent of Matrox Imaging’s platform flexibility. The booth will also display the newest CoaXPress® 2.0 frame grabber—Matrox Rapixo CXP—in action doing high-speed video capture using a CXP area-scan camera and programmed using Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software. Interactive stations will allow visitors to explore the Matrox Vision Academy online training platform, and experiment with MIL CoPilot and Matrox Design Assistant X software.
