The Cat 5e cables, available in a choice of unshielded, foil shield or Supra-Shield foil/braid, combine the technology of Ethernet communication with the durability and temperature range of the company’s Xtra-Guard 4 jacket. They are designed for users who need a flexible and routable Ethernet cable that can withstand extreme environments. Cable is available in a temperature range of -50°C to +125°C on FEP-insulated constructions, and -50°C to +105°C on Polyethylene-insulated constructions. The TPE jacket is available in black with standard lengths of 100, 1,000 and 2,000 feet. Other colors, including red and teal, are available as special orders. The product line includes 0 minimums with put-ups as small as 100 ft. Cables are UV and fluid resistant, meet UL 1666 Riser and CSA FT-4 flame tests, and are suitable for use in NFPA 79 applications.
