Banner Engineering Introduces Encapsulated LED Area Lights

Banner Engineering announces its WLA Series Encapsulated Area Lights. Designed for use in industrial environments, these powerful, solid-state LED lights are completely encapsulated in optically clear polyurethane—enhancing chemical compatibility and increasing their resistance to shock and vibrations.

The Encapsulated WLA light is a rugged, high intensity light ideal for machine lighting, visual inspection stations and general industrial area lighting. The sealed light is available in four sizes and has a sleek polycarbonate housing and slim profile.

“The Encapsulated WLA LED Area Lights provide our customers with a high-brightness, vibration-resistant lighting solution for some of the toughest industrial applications, such as stamping machines and punch presses,” said Kathy Erickson, Technical Marketing Manager, Banner Engineering. “Additionally, polyurethane has excellent resistance to fuel, oils, grease and many solvents.”

Featuring a maintenance-free design, the energy-efficient Banner WLA Encapsulated Area lights are designed to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdown applications and are rated to IP69K. Easy installation options include quick disconnect or cable versions, a versatile angle bracket and a convenient magnetic mount solution.
