The In-Sight 7000 delivers high-speed acquisition at more than 100 frames per second for reliable inspection on even the fastest production lines. Autofocus lets users easily set-up and save optimal focus values for each part, which is critical for production situations requiring regular part changes or hard-to-reach spaces. Flexibility is enhanced by field-replaceable lighting with five different color options (red, blue, green, white and infrared) to support multiple vision applications. For even more optic flexibility, it can be configured as a C-mount unit. Plus the In-Sight 7000 can power and control external lighting directly — without the need for external power supplies and the extra space they occupy.

EasyBuilder software completes the package to make inspection, defect detection, guidance, alignment and measurement applications easy to set up and deploy. As part of the Cognex Connect software suite, the In-Sight 7000 offers the widest range of built-in communication protocols that interface directly with In-Sight vision systems to communicate via built-in Ethernet, RS-232 serial and multiple discrete I/Os.
