This new edition is fully compatible with the previous solution and boasts optimized performance as well as new functionalities, while maintaining the principles of modularity and open structure. Multitouch support opens the door to direct operator interaction: Pinch&Zoom and Pan functions on the Main screen allow for clearer viewing, while list panning and page scrolling bring about even more intuitive navigation. In addition, double-tapping improves operator security.
Moreover, new diagnostic functions and OPC-driven communication management functions are added, along with brand new functionalities for setting the call sequence when notifying a user group, and extended printer support in Windows CE.
