AutomationDirect’s DirectSOFT6 PLC programming software, the 32-bit Windows certified programming software for the entire DirectLOGIC line of PLCs, provides faster status updates and contains many new and upgraded features to make ladder logic programming faster and easier.

DirectSOFT6 includes over 40 additional “IBoxes”. The popular packetized fill-in-the-blank style instructions (compatible with DirectLOGIC DL05, DL06, D2-250-1, D2-260, and D4-450 CPUs with supporting firmware) make writing simple to complex ladder logic for functions such as Memory, Discrete Helper, Analog Helper, Math, Communications and CTRIO, faster and easier.

Additional enhancements include graphic ladder view, ladder box leg labels, and graphic stage view. Configurable toolbars provide the flexibility to put what you need where you want it; the new Trend View debugging tool allows visual monitoring of the values of controller data elements over time and can monitor any readable numeric or bit location as well as any constant value.

DirectSoft6 is priced at $395 and one package supports the entire line of DirectLOGIC CPUs, eliminating the need for different packages for multiple PLCs. For customers with older DirectSOFT versions, an upgrade package is available for $249.
